About Us
Ethiopian Community Center’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the Habesha community’s mental, physical, psychological, moral, and financial wellbeing. The center wants to improve the communities quality of life through efficient, effective, and entrepreneurial community outreach, education, care, and services.
HabCom desires to make Habesha youths, families, and seniors stronger, physically, emotionally, and financially, not neglecting to come together to serve and uplift those especially in need due to illness, financial struggles, or other hardship. The center aims to enhance the communities language and culture by providing professional, and culturally sensitive education, support, and care so that individuals and families can realize their full potential. By providing culturally sensitive education and community building for the youth, Ethiopian Community Center aims to bring forth sensitive, caring individuals that understand and utilize currently available opportunities to further their lives and to help others. By uplifting the education and well being of all of the Ethiopian community, we aim to continue to bring forth a people that can confidently stand together with other communities and contribute to a healthy and multicultural United States.
